Welcome to Rituwanapapa Dogue De Bordeaux Kennel
My husband and I live on a property of 30 acres in the scenic Flinders Ranges. I purchased my first dogue as a pet and companion for my husband and we came to love our beautiful Caesar so much, but unfortunately he was taken from us at such an early age, only 18 months of age. It was at this point that I was determined to research the breed, reading articles, books, spending hours on the internet and contacting other breeders, some of whom have been an incredible source of assistance and help to me. I have since purchased three beautiful, lumbering, rambunctious, loving dogues, that have taken over our house and our lives and they are the joy of my life. Our dogues enjoy their days, relaxing and playing with us; they are not caged or kenneled. We want nothing more than to see our dogues healthy, happy and active. We live only a few minutes from our local beach area, which is a totally isolated beach only occasionally used by some of the local fishermen, so our dogues have the freedom to run and swim and usually chase seagulls (much to the disgust of the seagulls). We provide our dogues with the best care and attention possible, ensuring they are sound, healthy, socialised and happy. Our dogues are cared for in a family environment and are family socialised with children and other animals. For us, there is no difference between family and pets. Our dogues are our family, often spoilt with more love, attention and affection than the humans in our lives. All our dogues are house dogs, so they have access to indoors at all times. We have an area of approximately 2 acres enclosed around our house, so the dogues are kept in a safe environment and the doors are always open - day or night. All our breeding dogues are hip and elbow scored and health tested. Our aim is to breed for quality, producing calm, stable and strong dogues that will fit into any family environment. We will only be breeding with the best, strongest, healthiest dogues that meet all FCI standards. We will only breed selectively to increase our family and aim to work with other breeders to help improve the breed type and standard overall. I would like to thank Debbie Marshall of Chienparadis, Leanne Miller of Bellarouge and Vicki Cameron of Amedange for their invaluable help, patience and knowledge in helping me to get off to a great start. I would also like a big thank you to Craig Skinner of Yllekden, who is a diamond in the rough. He has taken the time to help me so much and gave me the chance to get my first dogue. I hope you enjoy visiting my website and take the time to look at the photos of our beautiful family, who are our pride and joy.
